Genealogies taken from various sources. Note on leaf [4]: pedigrees Miscellaneous, No. 18. The main compiler refers to "my aunt Skeffington" (leaf 63v). Elizabeth, daughter of Richard Dering (d. 1612), married Sir William Skeffington, of Fisherwick, Staffordshire; a descendant married a lady whom Sir Edward Dering, 2nd bart., refers to as "cousin Hungerford" (Diaries ... of Sir Edward Dering ... 1644-1684, ed. M. Bond, 1976, p. 116).
